TOP actress and presenter Zimiphi "Zimdollar" Biyela has achieved her dream of landing a role on a Netflix show.
Despite appearing in many top Mzansi productions, including Durban Gen, Uzalo, eHostela, and Umkhokha: The Curse, she still felt unfulfilled as she had never featured on Netflix.
The 43-year-old actress and presenter from Empangeni, KZN, believed that Netflix roles were reserved for only a select few, and is delighted to have finally reached this milestone.
Zimdollar, who co-hosts the midday show on Ukhozi FM with DJ SpheLive, now stars as a minister's wife in the new Netflix series The Polygamist, which has quickly become the talk of the town.

She often found herself losing sleep over how to break into Netflix.
"Appearing on a Netflix show was my biggest dream, but the challenge was that I saw it as far out of reach. I thought it'd be impossible to fulfil.
"I was watching Netflix shows thinking they were reserved for certain top actors, and thought I'd never be there," she said.
Zimdollar revealed she'll still appear on TV, but not in longer roles because she has limited time as she works full-time at the radio station, presenting Monday to Friday from 12.30pm to 3pm.
She said she's not as active in acting as before because of limited time but always told herself she wouldn't retire from acting without having appeared on Netflix.
Zimdollar's focus is also on her organic herbs business called UKM Organic KwaMamkhulu, based in KZN and Joburg.
ThePolygamist is currently talk of the town for the excellent performances delivered by lead actors, including S'dumo Mtshali, Gugu Gumede, Kwanele Mthethwa, Celeste Ntuli and Luyanda Zwane.
