CELESTE Ntuli is making her return to acting with a new Netflix show about polygamy.
The 45-year-old actress and comedian will be part of The Polygamist, set to premiere on 12 June worldwide.
This marks her comeback to acting after a six-year break.
Celeste was popular for her character Siphokazi Zungu on the hit show Isibaya for many years before it was canned by Mzansi Magic in 2021.
After that, she announced she was pausing her acting career to focus more on comedy.
Now, the Empangeni-born star has decided to return to the small screen.
"I'll never quit acting. It was just a break. Now I'm back and I love my character because it's different from the characters I've played before. Unfortunately, I won't say much about it for now. Viewers must just stay tuned," she told Daily Sun.

"I last appeared on Isibaya in 2021 and I'm happy to be back again after six years."
She said the disadvantage of an acting career is that chances of getting jobs are limited, but she's grateful that she has a comedy career that keeps her busy when the acting jobs aren't coming.
"Most of the time I'm always in people's faces because of comedy. Going forward, my fans will still continue to watch me on TV because I'll never stop acting," she said.
"I mean, in this economy we have a lot to do. I know I can act and I'm no longer just a mere comedian. I will not stop acting, but I'll also not stop doing comedy."
She stated that she's preparing her comedy show called Celeste & DA Big Dudes, to be held at Emperors Palace in Ekurhuleni on 8 August.
"After watching me on Netflix, I ask my fans to come and see me live delivering comics alongside other comedians during my show," she added.
