The pre-trial for this case was initially set for Friday, 19 June, while the trial was scheduled to start in July.
However, the pre-trial was moved to Thursday, 11 June for administration purposes.
Now, 13 August has been set as the day for the pre-trial to check if all parties will be trial-ready, which is set to start on 5 October and will run until 8 May.
Judge Thoba Poyo-Dlwati was not happy with the delays and made it clear she wanted no further postponements.
She questioned both the state and the defence about why the trial was moved from July to October.
The defence complained about difficulties consulting the accused, who are all currently kept at the super maximum-security eBongweni Correctional Centre in Kokstad, south of KZN.

They complained about restricted consultation times while preparing for the trial.
The defence requested to have the accused moved from eBongweni to Westville Prison, and the state agreed to move them for two weeks for consultation purposes.
