A 54-YEAR-OLD woman from Indonesia was recently reported missing, resulting in various authorities searching for her.
According to Insider.com, authorities went to her workplace and stumbled across a bloated 6m python.
It is reported that the snake was killed and cut open to remove the woman's body inside the stomach.
Police chief at AKP S Harefa, Betara Jambi, told local media outlets that the victim's body appeared to be largely intact when it was found.
The woman, identified as Jahrah, worked at a rubber plantation and was reported missing on 23 October when she did not return home.
"The victim's body was not destroyed when we found her inside the snake, meaning that she had only been recently swallowed whole," Jambi said.
