AFTER years of heartbreak, drama and endless obstacles, Skeem Saam viewers will finally see Lehasa and Pretty say "I do".
The couple's highly anticipated wedding episode is set to air on Wednesday, 20 May on SABC1, marking one of the biggest moments in the soapie's history.
Pretty and Lehasa's relationship (played by Lerato Marabe and Cedric Fourie) has kept Mzansi talking for years, with viewers following every twist and turn of their complicated love story.
From family disapproval and betrayal to break-ups, second chances and public scrutiny, the pair's romance hasn't been smooth sailing.
The wedding storyline comes after years of emotional investment from viewers, who practically begged Skeem Saam producers and SABC1 to make sure Pretty and Lehasa stay together.
Fans even gave the couple the nickname "Prehasa", a combination of their names.
For many viewers, the wedding is more than just another soapie event.
