IT’S been barely a week since Sifiso was buried, and Zethu is already getting married.
Zethu was Sifiso’s second wife, and it took a while to convince his first wife, Mabuyi, to accept the arrangement.
Although Mabuyi never truly accepted it, she eventually allowed Sifiso to be with Zethu.
However, after finally being accepted into the family, Zethu went on to destroy the relationship and ultimately played a role in Sifiso’s death.
She moved to Joburg to pursue her career, where she met another man, Shobane.
Zethu found herself in love with two men, and that love triangle ended in tragedy.
Sifiso confronted Shobane and, during the fight, Shobane stabbed him to death.
Zethu then had the audacity to attend Sifiso’s funeral and cry as if none of it was her fault.
She threw herself on the floor, screaming for Sifiso, and to make matters worse, she insulted Mabuyi, telling her she wasn’t wife enough for him.
Now, barely a week after mourning Sifiso, Zethu is getting married.
Yes, she’s marrying the very man who killed Sifiso — and she’s happier than ever.
However, the wedding isn’t going as planned. One obstacle after another keeps getting in the way, including red paint spilling all over Zethu’s wedding dress.
On KwaBaba, Zwelakhe is finally realising who his biggest enemy really is.
He’s spent his whole life trusting his uncle, Gcwabe, not knowing that he has been plotting against him all along.
Gcwabe has been doing everything he can to stop Zwelakhe from succeeding.
But now the truth is finally coming out.
Gcwabe sabotaged Zwelakhe’s relationship with Bahumi, stole from his business and even ruined his attempts to save his wedding.
Zwelakhe’s mum, MaMbokazi, has been warning him about Gcwabe for a long time, but he refused to listen.
Now he’s discovered that Gcwabe went to Bahumi’s family to badmouth him. As a result, they want nothing to do with Zwelakhe or his family.
Let’s hope Zwelakhe finally cuts ties with Gcwabe. Only then might his life get back on track.
