This advocacy campaign on underage drinking should be conducted in all provinces.

It is time that MECs for education, health and social services come together and embark on special educational programmes to address the scourge of underage drinking.

Alcohol abuse affects every part of our society, from very affluent communities to the poor.

Alcohol destroys brain cells and damages the liver.

I appeal to every young man out there to refrain from indulging in this intoxicating beverage.

I also appeal to every girl to be assertive. Assertiveness may ensure they have the ability not to be persuaded or pressurised into doing something that they know, deep down, is not a good idea.
