I would like to send a message of appreciation to South Africa's unsung heroes - community health workers.
These health workers have been at the frontline of efforts to fight Covid-19 and have helped millions of families access quality healthcare. They take care of our elderly and are helping mothers and young children stay healthy, yet their work often goes unnoticed.
