President Cyril Ramaphosa's new amendments or relaxation of Covid-19 regulations is just another one of his stunts.
People have long been carrying masks for the sake of entering places where they are mandatory such as shopping complexes, surgeries and restaurants.
People have learnt to live with this virus. This means most, if not all people, now know what and what not to do in relation to this enemy.
So it's a waste of time to leave the country in alert level 1 instead of returning everything back to normal, especially as far as the impact on our economy is concerned.
Furthermore, I doubt Ramaphosa's 50% and vaccination regulation will materialise, with ZCC gathering during the Easter weekend.
Can anyone tell me what the capacity of Moria congregants is during Good Friday? Who will determine if they are indeed "half "of the normal capacity?
I am talking millions here. Also, who will be checking if all those millions, one after the other, are vaccinated by presenting relevant documents?
How long will that take, if it happens? That is practically impossible.
Let's wait and see who will count so they can send others back home to maintain the 50% rule
