More than four years since Judge Elias Matojane's judgment, former Eskom CEO Brian Molefe still hasn't repaid the Eskom Pension and Provident Fund (EPPF) a cent.
Eskom and the Special Investigating Unit should start with Molefe in their campaign to recoup billions of rands which were illegally diverted to help the Guptas purchase Optimum Coal Mine.
Matojane delivered a brief but scathing judgment against Molefe on 25 January 2018. It ordered Molefe to repay the EPPF the money he had already received, which at the time was reported to be an estimated R11 million.
Molefe appealed in the Supreme Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court and both applications failed, but he's still clinging to the Eskom millions.
