Men should respect women because women are humans too.
They have feelings, hopes, wishes, ambitions and desires, just like men.
Women aren't sub-human, perpetual children or brainless creatures who can't survive unless some man directs their lives.
Men should treat women with basic civility and good manners without causing unwarranted harm or emotional distress.
This takes the form of kindness, consideration and fairness in order to share the same world in peaceful co-existence.
