TOP Mzansi DJs set Durban alight with unique live collaborations that left the audience in awe.
The Station in Durban was the place to be for music lovers who witnessed Mzansi's top DJs being paired with each other on one set during Red Bull Back2Beyond on the unforgettable night of Saturday, 14 March.
What impressed the audience most was seeing their beloved DJs sharing one set at a time across three setups, playing together for one and a half hours before one bowed out and the remaining DJ joined a new partner on another set.
Grammy award-winning musician-turned-DJ Zakes Bantwini opened the night, paired with Kabza De Small.
Zakes then left the set, and Kabza joined DJ LaSoul, and they played together for one and a half hours.
Kabza later left, and LaSoul joined Distruction Boyz on another set. They played together until LaSoul left and Zakes joined Distruction Boyz, playing with them for one and a half hours.

DJ LaSoul, who played alongside Kabza and Distruction Boyz for three hours in total, told Daily Sun she felt proud to represent Durban in this unique setup.

"The people were from KwaMashu, and one person from Joburg. Zakes Bantwini is from KwaMashu, Goldmax is from KwaMashu, Que is from KwaMashu, and I'm from KwaMashu. I feel so good to represent Durban, knowing where we come from and how far we've come.
"I'm honoured to be part of this lineup because it came with learning curves. It challenged me, I won't lie, but overall, I knew I was going to have a good time playing with people who are so great and legendary. I'm overwhelmed by the excitement I felt, but I'm happy to have represented Durban as a whole," she said.

She said it was humbling to share one set with Kabza and another with Distruction Boyz.
"I'm very familiar with Distruction Boyz, and I love them. Goldmax just won so many awards, and Que is also a multi-award-winning artist - they are such a hardworking duo.
"But to imagine myself back-to-back with Kabza was not something I thought of. This opportunity obviously got me there and gave me the chance to share my music and my skills with someone I look up to so much," she said.
