AWARD-WINNING radio presenter Selby "Selbeyonce" Mkhize shares her experience of working with a popular duo who has been together for many years.
The 36-year-old renowned radio presenter from Inanda, north of Durban, shocked many when she left Ukhozi FM for Gagasi FM in 2025.
After joining Gagasi FM while many were still reeling from the shock, Selby found herself working alongside the duo SPHEctacula and DJ Naves, who have known each other for many years and have worked together for years on both Gagasi FM and Metro FM.
They presented the afternoon drive show in 2025 as a trio - an unusual move to have three talented presenters on one show.

The trio delivered their best and remained unchanged for the new season that started on Wednesday, 1 April.
Selby, who surprised many by fitting seamlessly into a duo that had worked and known each other for years, told Daily Sun she was initially scared.
"It was not difficult to crack the code. At first, of course, it was scary. They have known each other for many years and now I'm joining their space.
"I was asking myself, 'Oh my goodness, how am I going to do this?' But I allowed myself to fit in and let the universe and the stars align. So, it has been absolutely good," she said.
Explaining their working relationship as a trio, Selby said SPHEctacula is the one who calls them to order during the show.
"There is one person I need to call and that person is DJ Naves and he also calls me to order. Actually, SPHEctacula calls DJ Naves and me to order," she said.
