KWAITO star L'vovo Derrango has given an update on his health - saying he is at 80 percent recovery from his near-fatal stroke and wants hackers to leave him alone.
The Bayang'sukela hitmaker, from Newcastle in KZN, says crooks hacked his X account and are using his name to post about illegal immigration.
"I'm not active on X - I've not used that account since 2020, after it was hacked," L'vovo, real name Thokozani Ndlovu (45), told Daily Sun.
"I was shocked when people started calling me, asking why I was posting about illegal immigrants. I was not even aware the page was still active."
The ailing star, who suffered a near-fatal stroke in 2022, said his sole focus right now is getting better - and the hackers are making that impossible.

"Those who hacked my page are trying to gain popularity using my name. I want to make it clear to everyone: I'm NOT the one posting after it was hacked."
L'vovo admitted the X page, previously named Put South Africa First, did belong to him before it was stolen in 2020.
"I'm still fighting for my recovery, and I do not want anything else to distract me," he said.
"Yes, it was my account - but I am no longer using it. I am hurt that someone is doing this to me knowing I am still recovering."
He added: "I can safely say I am at 80% to full recovery, and it is going well. God is still with me."
