Following the emotional conclusion of beloved dramas Scandal and House of Zwide, the channel is introducing eGagasini and The Four of Us, premiering Monday, 29 June at 7:30pm.

The launch event was held at Gagasi FM studios in Conubia, north of Durban, where an exclusive screening gave fans a first look at the new offerings.

Stars who graced the red carpet included veteran actor Meshack Mavuso and Gugu Gumede from eGagasini, alongside Sdumo Mtshali and Thembinkosi Mthembu from The Four of Us.

Executive producer Mark Madai described the move as a calculated gamble worth taking.

“The golden hour is a power hour nestled between early and late primetime,” Madai told Daily Sun. “We see massive viewership during this window — that’s why we’ve positioned our biggest bets here.”

He praised Stained Glass TV for delivering eGagasini ready for air in just three months.

Gumede, who plays a lead role in eGagasini and has starred in Uzalo and The Polygamist, expressed pride in the production’s growth.

“It’s incredible to see how Stained Glass TV continues to nurture so much talent from KwaZulu-Natal,” she said.

With two heavy-hitting dramas bowing out, e.tv is betting big that its fresh lineup will keep South African audiences glued to their screens.
